Please join the Patent Law & Practice Committee for a meeting on January 23rd, 2026, from 12:00-1:00 pm. The meeting will focus on Patent Eligibility under 35 U.S.C § 101, featuring a presentation from Charles Kim, Deputy Commissioner for Patents at the USPTO. The Deputy Commissioner for Patents authored the patent eligibility memo on software/AI/ML sent out by the USPTO in August 2025, and he will be discussing changes to the MPEP based on the recent precedential Appeals Review Panel decision in Ex Parte Desjardins issued by Director Squires.

Attendees will earn up to 1.0 NY/NJ CLE Credit
