Deposition Skills – Video Stop: A program based on segment called, “OK, Stop!” from weekly political podcast Lovett or Leave It. A clip of a famous deposition is played, and panelists pause the clip periodically to offer commentary about its content in view of deposition techniques. What the taking attorney did well, what she didn’t do well. Where the witness took the taking attorney down a “rabbit hole” favorable to the witness, and conversely where the taking attorney’s technique caused the witness to make an admission.
