The New York Intellectual Property Law Association hosted the 91st Annual Dinner in Honor of the Federal Judiciary (Judges Dinner) on Friday, March 22, 2013 at the Waldorf Astoria New York Hotel. It was a rousing success with over 2,600 federal judges, government officials, corporate counsels, legal professionals, and representatives from other intellectual property associations in attendance. NYIPLA President Thomas J. Meloro was pleased to present this year’s Outstanding Public Service Award to the Honorable Barbara S. Jones, former District Judge for the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York, for her dedication in the legal and law enforcement field. The Dinner Speaker was Michael Strahan, former NFL player for the New York Giants and current co-host on “Live! With Kelly and Michael”, who delivered a speech that was as exciting as his performance on the football field!
