Dear Colleague:
The work of our Association is accomplished in the main by the Association committees. The committees with open memberships are as follows:
You may join a committee by selecting a 1st, 2nd or 3rd choice for a committee preference from the drop-down menu. Kindly fill in your name, firm phone, fax and your e-mail address in the spaces that follow.
A tremendous amount of the work that our Association accomplishes during the year is due to the efforts of our committees and its members. I urge you to join at least one of the committees listed on the attached Committee Preferences sign-up sheet. Committee involvement is a wonderful way to become involved in a professionally rewarding activity, develop friendships that will endure throughout your career and give back to your profession and your community.
The deadline for designating committee preferences is August 7, 2009. A response from you by that date is requested so that committee appointments can be finalized over the summer. Committee Chairs will advise committee members of their appointments soon thereafter so that our committees have the opportunity to begin constructive planning for the 2009-2010 Association year.
I encourage you to become involved in one of the Association’s many committees and look forward to working with you during the year.
